MRS. STEWART8 TEA.
Mrs. Frank Stewart's tea was a pret
ty event of Saturday afternoon. The
| decorations were palmB, ferns and red
roses. In the dining room the table
covered with Venetian lace mats
I and the centerpiece was a vase of red
roses.
Misses Holland served tea and Miss
Martha Boynton served punch.
Mrs. Stewart wore a gown of blue
[ and green plaid, made prlncesse and
trimmed with baby Irish lace.
Mrs. Bell. Mrs. Stewart's mother,
u'as gowned In a black lace over taf-
| feta.
The Misses Holland wore white silk
I toilets, fashioned with Valenciennes
laces. Miss Boynton wore a gown of
blue silk, trimmed with Irish lace.

NATIONAL CONVENTION
OF COLLEGE SORORITY.
The opening session of the first na-
I tlnnnl convention of the Alpha Delta
Sorority was held Friday afternoon at
I j!: 30 o'clock at the residence of Mrs.
Willingham, at Macon, where all
| the business sessions of the convention
will be held.
At the opening session the program
consisted of addresses of welcome and
responses and the singing of the special
songs prepared for the convention. The
address of welcome In behalf of the
I alumnae chapter was made by Mrs.
Edgar Ross, and the address In behalf
of the active chapter by Miss Newell
Mason.
A paper by Mrs. Mary A. Olass, a
I member of the first Adelphean society,
vas read by Miss Stella Daniel.
The chapters represented aro those
