Ths funeral of Mr*. Sidney H. Phe
lan, who died suddenly of heart failure
Sunday afternoon at Wsatvlew ceme
tery. will take place Tuesday morning
at It o’clock at flu Lukes Episcopal
church, on Psachtrea street. The In
terment will ba at Weatvtew.
Mrs. Phelan, accompanied by her
daughter, Mrs. Palmer Graham Clark,
went to tbs cemetery Saturday after
noon for the purpose of visiting the

larly known In Georgia and Alabama.
She -wga Miss Palmer Graham, of
Montgomery, a daughter of Colon-1
Malcolm Graham, and had prominent
connections In that city. Her home In
Atlanta haa always been the ecene of
many brilliant aaaemblagea and aoclaf
function!. She was alwaya regarded
as a social factor.
Mrs. Phelan le survived by her hue-
band, Sidney H. Phelan, three eons and
four daughters. They are; Malcolm
Graham Phelan, of Roberta, Ga.; Sid
ney H., Jr., and Leman; daughters,
Mrs. Palmer Oraham Clark. Misses M.
A. Phelan. Elite Beale Phelan and Mc
Gowan Phelan. She leavee a brother,
Malcolm D. Oraham. of Prattvtlla. Ala.,
and two enters, Mrs. Stanley & Crit
tenden and Mm John Stratford, both
of Montgomary.
Mrs. Phelan waa also a sister of the
late Edward A. Graham, of Montgom
ery. a lawyer of much prominence.
Several of the relatives will arrive in*
Atlanta Monday. .
