Forcsitpletely have the colored nien In tho south

of their constitutional and legal rights as eitlsen*

of that party to national power ns tho signal of
their downfall, and aro affrighted because tiicy

came to Delaware with William Penn It become*
the primal qtitstlou of American manhood. It
demands a hearing and a scttlrraeqit, nud that
setthment will vlndlrato the equality of Ameri

will, at least, establish the equality ol the whlto

give to the northern man who fought to preverve
thr union as large avolro In its government ns
