WALLACE BUTTS NAMED
ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

late Wednesday that Coach Wallace
Butts had been named head of all
athletics at Male High School in
Louisville. Ky.
Coach Butts went to the Kentucky
school last spring as foolball coach.
His teams have won all games and

evening. The Eagles have a member
ship of 1500 in Chatham county and

athletes a chance to recuperate from
injuries and get in shape for the

five games will be played.
Coach Batchelor said he would
give much time to development of

The Parent-Teacher Association of
the Peabody Training School is
planning a special program for the
night of November 12th at which
time all parents are invited to attend.

the guest speaker. His subject will
be. "Our Movie Made Children”. A

The G. M. C. board of trustees
and Col. Jenkins appeared before the
