TURKEY DAY AWARD SCROLLS
1. Cut 12- by 12-inch sheets of scrap-
hook paper in half Lo measure 6 hy 12
inches. In the middle o Teach half sheet,
write the award and the winner’s name
using a marker.
2. Use a glue gun to affix two sticks
to the scroll’s lop and bottom.
3. Glue small pinecuiies or acorns to
the ends of the sticks foj decoration. Roll
the scroll and tie it with ribbon or raffia.
NATURE-WALK WREATH

lifts off
The gigantic Airbus A3$J0 aircraft is lifting fliers
to new heights. The world's largest passenger plane
completed its first commercial Jlight in October. The
jetliner took off from the tiny
Asian island nation of Stagaporc.
Seven and a half hours later it
touched down on schedule in Sydney, Australia.
Singapore Airlines operated the historic premiere
Might and became the first airline to add the super-
jntnbo to its Heel. Most of the seals were auctioned
online lor charity. Eager travelers paid between
dil .200 to Si00,000 for their chance to climb aboard
The auction raised more than Si million for aid
organizations m Singapore and Sydney, as well as for

The A380 has two levels, like a double-decker bus,

A TURBULENT TAKE-OFF
The A380 was expected lo be ready for the skies
in 2005- However, manufacturing problems pul the
craft's; debut on hold lor nearly two years. Airbus

Still, Chew Choon Seng, chief executive of
Singapore Airlines, believes it was worth the wad.
