Work Together On Math
Students in Windy McCannon’s kindergarten
class at Commerce Primary School have been
learning about presidents. One of the activities
was for the students to put together a book
let that listed facts about the 16th president,
Abraham Lincoln. Some of the students shared
their booklets with the school nurse and other
faculty members. Shown in the picture are
students Bryce Owensby, Eve Fisher and TJ
Trudnak showing their booklets to the school
nurse, Ashley Hulsey.
East Jackson Elementary School and East
Jackson Comprehensive High School stu
dents work together on math problems.
Students from an EJCHS class came over
to work with students as part of their own
curriculum. The close proximity of the two
schools has lead to many cooperative learn
ing experiences for students at both schools.
