School News
Top Fund-Raisers
Benton Elementary School recently had a Little Debbie fund-raiser with the
highest selling boy and highest selling girl winning free bicycles. The winners
are Makayla Wioskowski and Chase Watkins. Both are in Jessie Ransom’s
kindergarten class.
There To Help Out
Fifth grade students were given the opportunity to become bulldog bud
dies for Benton Elementary School. Bulldog Buddies act as role models by
assisting in various duties throughout the school. Students had to fill out an
application, write an essay, and sit for an interview for the position. They must
also be passing all subjects and cannot have any discipline referrals. Left to
right are (front) Lucy Xiong, Ryan Stephens, Reeves Nesmith, Brent Brown,
Tessa Flores, Delanie Lynch, (back) Dean Fouche, sponsor Judy Gault, Beka
