Auditions For 'Southern Exposure' Set
The Cold Sassy Players will hold open auditions to fill
31 spots for the upcoming show “Southern Exposure."
Auditions will be held Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 9-10, from
7:00 to 9 p.m. at the Commerce Cultural Center.
This is a great comedy for first-time actors, officials say.
The show will run March 26-28. The group is also looking
for people to help with lights, sound and costumes.

'Pajama Storytime' Ahead At Library
Catherine Harris, who
is in charge of children’s
programming at the
Commerce Public Fibrary,
has announced plans for
the library’s first-ever
Pajama Storytime, to be
held Thursday evening, Feb.
12, beginning at 6:45.
Children are invited to
come in their pajamas and
bring a favorite teddy bear
or stuffed animal. Parents
are invited to let someone
else read the bedtime story,
just this once!
' I ve wanted to do this for
a long time," says Harris.
“I think we’ll have a lot of
fun."

the library Saturdays after
a series of absences due
to surgery. Seltzer inherited
the mantel of curator from
the late Jean Booth, who
volunteered in the Heritage
Room for more than 25
years. She says she is happy
to be back and ready to
help those who would like
assistance in tracing their
family history.

is Saturdays between 11 a.m.

Christen Blake Phillips
Clay and Kellye Phillips of Commerce announce the birth
of a daughter, Christen Blake Phillips, Tuesday, Nov. 4,
2008, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.
She weighed four pounds, 13 ounces and was 18 inches
long.
The grandparents are Ray and Anne Farmer, Duluth,
and Sheila Steele, Winder. The great-grandparents are
Charlotte Farmer, Grand Cane, FA; and Marvin and Ann
Jett, Cumming.
