of four weeks spent in visiting my o!d
home aDd parents, whom I haven’t
seen before in 11 years, revelling in
sea bathing, fresh fish, oysters, soft
crabs, etc , I find it difficult to return
to Hie humdrum, every day duties of
life; my mind will ievert to the Scenes
of my recent visit, and the loved ones
there, who with smiling faces and lov¬

cure. Providence, who has not always
dealt with me with a tender hand, lma
at least been merciful iu my old home.
The golden howl liils not been broken,
the leaden hand of death has not once
crossed the threshold, but the merry
wedding bells have thrice rang out
the welcome notes of love and mar¬
riage, and two brothers and one sister
extend the hand of welcome to t e
Img absent one. Long 111117 they live
and let their paths bo laid iu flowery
places; and to that father whose silvery
locks bespeak the lapse of many win¬

When I was breaming him he kicked over

his hind legs all to pieces. I said employed the
best farriers, but they all he was
spoiled. He had a very largo thorough-
pin, and I used two bottles of your Ken¬

entirely oil, aud lie sold afterwards for
$1800. /have used it for bone spavins
and wind galls, and it lias always cured
completely and left the leg smooth.
It is a splended medicine for rheumatism
I have recommended It to a good many,
and they all say it does the work. I was
in Witherington & Kneelands’s drugstore,
in Adams, the other day and saw a very
fine picture you sent them. I tried to buy
it, but could* not; they said if 1 would write
to you that you would send me ono. I
wish you would, and I will do you all the
good 1 cun. Very respectfully,
