Judge Johnson mixed -Justice with
oratory and mercy with shrewdness.
He surprised everybody by swearing
the defendants, fined a man $10.75 for
reckless driving, gave a hearty wel
come to an old negro friend and fined
him for stealing chickens, and settled
a complicated dispute between Mi
randy Jenkins and Sister Kvangelina
Tittwller over the possession of the
secret ritual of the Amalgamated Sons
and Daughters of the Kobe of Ultjah.
Altogether he had a very busy day.
