WASHINGTON.— Orville Wright
showed signs of improvement Satur
day at the Fort Myer hospital and
while the doctors say he is not entire
ly out of danger, his condition Is
very satisfactory. Miss Katherine
Wright, a sister of the aviator, visited
her brother twice today and several
army officers and friends of the In
jured man were also permitted to
see him.
Lieut. Seifridge will be given a mi!-
itary funeral probably Thursday.
Telegrams of condolence front all

Capt. Bailey, the surgeon who has
been in charge of the Fort Myer bos
pita!, said Saturday:
“Mr. Wright is resting easily. He
is suffering from the natural reaction
of such injuries as he received on

and his temperature is a little high,
but he Is doing very satisfactorily. I

qultoen. To protect the health of one's family, the following precautions
should be rigidly observed:
BOIL THE WATER.
Firnt, boil all water which In to no used for drinking purposes or else se
cure water of unquenttoned purity from some outside source.
Heeund, flush ftll water closets by hand if there be not sufficient pressure
In the mains to flush them In the usual manner.
Third, carefully Inspect your premise* and see that there Is no standing
water which can bo used us a breeding place for mosquitoes. All wash tugs,
buckets, old tins, and such receptacles should ho emptied out, and kept empty
unless actually In use.
Fourth, any collection of standing wafer which cannot be emptied out or
removed should have sufficient kerosene poured upon Its surface to coat If
wit* - thin film of oil. The Hoard or Health will gladely oil any cellar or
