‘‘Habib Oullah Khan, eldest son of
the ameer of Afghanistan, has report¬
ed to the British agent at Cabul that
the ameer died last night after a brief

Moultrie Votes Prohibition.
A hot municipal election closed at
Moultrie, Ga., Monday night, two tick¬
ets being in the field. The one pledged
to abolish saloons was elected by ma¬
jorities ranging from twenty to forty.
Moultrie has eight saloons. These will
probably be closed soon.
