COMUNICAI ED
BY TATUM O f DADE.
Resolyed that it is the duty of
the House to so expedite the im
portant business to reach an ad
journment; and the following bills
ought to bo taken up and disposed
of:
let. A bill to authorize the W. &
A. R R to be released.
2nd. To support a six months
free school.
3rd: A bill to require corpora
tions to redeem any thing issued in
payment for wages on regular pay
days to bearrer.
4th. A bill to require all Railroad
companies to pay taxes for county
purposes through which they run.
oth. Committees are required to
report upon the same, and report to
the House at once.
6th. Moved that these resolutions
be adopted. Motion lost by Wire
Garss members voting against it,
aad the bill refer d to Committee
on. bills.
By noting theTabove communi
cation our readers will n see how Mr
Tatum is fulfilling everything that
his moshsanguin triends hoped for
in the election of our young and
active Representative. The reso
lution was aimed to expedite the
business of Legislature and to dis
pose of the most important ques
tions before the forth days expired
Why such a resolution was not
passed at once without reference to
a committee is hard to understand
and may be hard for some to ex
plain who voted against it, unless
some rulelof .the "House blocked its
passage. Go it Web you are in the
right, and we fear not but you wtll
stay there.
THEKIJ'fi'E oS LOVE
(by A FRieND.)
It is with a sympathizing and
sad heart that I pen a few lines in
memory of Laura, daughter of
Wm. F. and Mary E, Nethery, who
was born April 16th 1871, and en

rest on July 2nd 1888, her death
was caused by a relapse of typhoid
fever, her suffering was intense but
she bore it patiently, she was al
