a dispateh from San Juan de Po
to Rico, carried to St, Thomas by
a carrier pigem. asserts that to
day the United States auxilliary
cruiser St. Paul had an engage
i mont with the Spanish torpedo
’boot destroyer Terror and killed
the engineer and five men.
