No Better.—Mr. Charley
Crawford, who is dangerously
ill at his home in Cedartown, is
reported as no better today. He
is gradually sinking and iiis
death is expected momentarily.

Appointed Surgeon.—Dr. W.
P. Harbin has been appointed a
surgeon in tbe United Stated army
and will be statimed at Waco,,

Broke Down.—The electric
cars happened to another acci
dent Tuesday. Some part of the
machinery at the power house
broke down and it will probably
be tomorrow before the cars will
be running again. The accident
was quite an unfortunate one at
this time on account of the ball
eames in progress at the park.
Hacks were run between the
park and the city today.
