SPORT FOR THE BOYS
AN AMKTII R BASE BALL LEAGUE F. B
MOBI'H BOMB.
It has been suggested by some of
tliejloverß of the aational game that
an Ametuer Base Bail League be
formed by the cities in North Geor
gia Tine would be an excellent plan
<>f furnishing for the lov
ir of base ball during the summer.
•
I’he plan suggested is tbis
Let representatives from Rome,
Dalton, Cartersville, Marietta Rock
mart, Cedartown, Carrollton, and
Douglasville or Tallapoosa, meet and
organize the League with a small
capital stock sufficient to me t ex
penses divided in abaies of tea dol
lars each.
We think this would be a good
plai 4 and feel confident that Rome
will do hor part. She has material to
form one of the best Asaeteur Clu >a

Ledbetter, Graham, Flemming’, Pioc
