DOWN THE EMBANKMENT

A Dangerous Fall for a Horse and
fuggy Yesterday.
Yesterday afternoon a Mr. j7c !ia r.
who lives north of here, was driving
out of the city and when he got just
beyond John Kane's store, his horse
became frightened at a passing car
There is a deep and precipitous
depression to the right of the car line
just at this point, and the animal
c >mna ncad plunging and backing
towards it. Mr, Weber realized the
seriousness of the situation, and
jutoped as the horse backed over the
place.
Horse and buggy rolled down the
steep embankment. Strange to say
the h >rse was only slightly injured
but the biegy was badly damaged
