CHARTERS IS ALL RIGHT.
Dahlonega, Ga , October 14.—\
The reports indicating the
ol Hun. W. A. Charters for the
house are entirely incorrect. There
was never at any lime any doubt
of his election. He received aclear ;
majority over all his opponents
combined, as will be seen from
the following - W. A. Charters
received 580 votes, W. J. • Burt
310, J. T. Grindle 191, W. H.
Postell 28 and J. N. Austin’ 11.
And in face of the fact that a
heavy flight was m ide on him
solely on the Hue that he is a law
ver «nd a town man, he received a
majority ot the country vote and
a practically unanimous town
vote, out of the 868 votes cast at
the tiwn| precinct he having re-’
