Former Brunswiekian Owes Neatly
Forty Thousand Dollars.
The Savannah News of yesterday
said: .
“ W. S. Branham, a Wayeross lawyer,
tiled a petition for relief from his debts
iu bankruptcy in the office of the clerk
of the United States District court on
yesterday. Ho has liabilities, repre
sented by nnsecurcd claims, aggergating
$39,08155, and no assets
“The bidders of the claims are resi
dents of a dozen cities throughout this
country and some in England and Scot
land, Most of the claims are for bor
rowed money, which the bankrupt
seems to have been able to got without
security and to spend without leaving
in his hands visible assets.
”In tiie list, however, arc claims
for goods and merchandise fmr
chased by the bankruut from various
parties on various occaaious. One or
two of the creditors of this latter class
are residents of Savannah, but their
olaiins are lor small amounts.”
Mr. Branham resided here for a num
ber of years,

“PETTY”LARCENY SURE
,Tuilgo Conoley yesterday bound over
a small negro boy for stealing four cro
cus sacks and two rope baiters from H.
S. McCrary. Tne stolen goods are
worth exactly fifteen cents and cost
the county about twenty-five dollars to
try the case.
BOARD OF TRADE MEETING.
The Brunswick board of health will
meet in regular weekly session at the
city hall at 11 o’clock today and all

augurate Changes.
Both the Southern Railway and the
Plant System inaugurated a change
of schedule. The Plant System’s
changes are as follows:
Train No. £7 leaves at 1:15 a. m.
instead of at 5:30 a. m. Train No. 89
leaves at 3:10 p. m. instead of at
2 :50 p. m.
Train No. 90 arrives at 8:11 a. m.,
instead of at 9:50 a. m. Train No. 88
arrives at 8:10 p. in. instead of at
7:30 p. m.
The Southern changes are as fol
lows: No. 19 leaves at 4:45 a. m..
No. II at 7:20 a. m„ No. 9$ at 1:45
a. m., No. 25 at 1:38 p. m,. No. 13 at
