To the superior court of said county:
The petition of S. S. Rickett and
Benito ,I’ad.rosa, botli of Glynn county.
Georgia, and of Samuel A. Sizer, of
Duval county, Florida, respectfully
shows:
1. IT hat petitioners) their asso
ciates and successors, desire to become
a body corporate and politic under
the laws of the state of Georgia,
under the name and style of lho “Pino
Lumber Company.”
2. That under such corporate name
they desire (o carry on for pecuniary
profit, for the period of twenty years:
with privilege of renewal thereafter
according to law, the business:
(a) Of buying, leasing, acquiring,
selling and otherwise, utilizing and
disposing of lands, timber rights aud
privileges therein, and to manufacture,
buy and sell logs and lumber of ev
ery character.
(b) To erect and operate saw mills,
planing mills and dry kilns for the
manufacture and sale of the product
thereof.
(c) To construct tram roads and
operate the same for profit, for the
use aud as well the profit of petition
ers.
(and) To engage In the merchandise
business in connection with the busi
ness of said corporation.
(e) To buy and seil r'Tl and per
sonal property of every Character.
3. The capital stock of said corpo
ration shall be ten thousand dollars
($10,000.00) divided Into one hundred
shares of SIOO.OO each, no part of
which has yet been paid in, but be
fore commencing business under a
charter gralnted hereunto, at b.lmt
twenty-five per cent, thereof will be
paid in cash, with privilege to increase
said capital stock from time to time
by a vote of ninety per cent, of the
stock then outstanding to an amount
not to exceed one hundred thousand

(4) The chief office of said cor
poration shall be In the city of Hnius

branch offices at other points in
Georgia, jn the United States, or
elsewhere, where necessary or con

5. Petitioners desire the privi

on the corporation’s businses.
6. Petitioners desire the right to
borrow money and secure the same
from time to time by mortgage, deed
of trust or other form of security.
7. The number of officers ard di
rectors, with their duties, shall be
fixed by the by-laws of said corpora
tion, and afe subject to change from
time to time.
8. Petitioners desire for themselves
and associates, under such corporate
name, to have the riglß to make by
laws for the government of said cor
poration, to sue and he sued, to plead
and be impleaded, and generally to
have all the rights and he subject
to all of the liabilities given by law
to private corporations.
