EAST THOMSON.
Mr. J. S. Sills made a business trip
to Atlanta last week, being sent by
Mr. H. A. Price of the Thomson Mer
cantile Motor Co., to learn the de
tails of battery making. Mr. Sills
is a young man of unusual mechan
ical ability and we hope that he will
make good in this particular line of
the motor industry.
Rev. R. P. Gill visited Augusta
Monday of last week.
Messrs. Rudolph, B. Proctor, Roy
Proctor and George Kerce motored
to Augusta Tuesday.
Mr. Sam Geeter has secured em
ployment in Augusta.
Mr. Roy Proctor is working at
Clearwater, S. C.
Mrs. B. Proctor is visiting relatives
at Bath, S. C.
Mr. Rudolph and Erwin Proctor
are visiting friends at Johnson, S. C
Mr. R. P. Gill has secured employ
ment with Mr. J. M. Hayes, where
he will be pleased to serve his old
friends and meet new ones.
Mr. M. B. Baston and Miss Annie
Luke were united in marriage by
the Rev. R. P. Gill at his residence
Friday night at 8 o’clock.
