SEVERE CRAMPING SPELLS,
PAINS IN SACK AND SIDES
“My trouble has been periodic
damping spells,” says Mrs. C. C.
Draper, of Atlanta, Texas. “For
several years these have come on
Ine so bad that I had to quit my
work and go to bed. Every
month I would stay in bed from
one to two days. The pains in
toy back and sides were awful.
“This went on for several
months after I was married un
til, one time when I was having
• bad spell, my husband sug
gested that I try Cardui. I said
I would try it, r,o he got me a
Lottie at the store and I began
to take it.
“It seemed like I improved
from the very first dose. When
1 had taken one bottle I was very
imich better. I did not cramp so
•bard the next month and 1 ate
jftnd slept better. I was not near
ly so nervous, either. I thought
;Cardui was nne, so I continued
the treatment until I had taken
five bottles, at which time I felt
completely well. I had no more
cramping spells at all, and my
health was as good as anybody’s.
I am feeling fine now and I give
all the credit to Cardui, for I
had been suffering for years be
fore I took it.”
Cardui is a vegetable extract, con
taining no harmful ingredients. It is
made from mild-acting medicinal herbs
with a gentle, tonic, strengthening ef
fect upon certain female organs and
ipon the system in general. Its users
mve testified to its special value at
the time of entering womanhood at
naturity and at the time of the
change of life.
For over 40 years, Cardui has been
tested in use by thousands of women
who have written to tell of the great
benefit they have received from it.
For over 600 years, medical authori
ties have recommended one of the
principal ingredients of Cardui in the
treatment of certain female com
plaints.
Cardui, the woman’s tonic, tested by
time, is today the product of many
years of experience and investigation.

BILL WOULD STOP PLANTING
ESTIMATES.
Atlanta, Ga., April 10th.—The na
tional house of representatives is ex
pected to consider soon the bill of
U. S. Senator W. J. Harris, of Geor
gia, stoping the reports on intentions
to. plant cotton issued in the past by
the department of agriculture in
March of each year, according to re
ports received here today. The bill
has passed the Senate and has been
favorably reported by the House
Agriculture Committee. Other parts
of the bill provide for the crop con
dition reports to be issued at the
same time as the cotton ginning fig
ures by the Census Bureau.
Senator Harris says the bill, with
a companion measure regulating gin
ning figures, will furnish more ac
curate statistics and help the cotton
farmer. The legislation, he said, is
designed to make it harder for the
cotton ghmbler to depress the price
on announcement of government fig
ures. The bill is approved by the
American Cotton Association, the
Georgia Cotton Growers Cooperative
Association and other farm organiz
ations.
