For Piles, Burns, Sores,
Mr. G. W. H. Stanley Will Con
trol Lanier Business College.
Mr. G. W. H- Stanley has. pur¬
chased the Lanier Business Col¬
lege at Macon, G^., and will
operate it in the future. It may
be possible that he will later con¬
solidate his Thornasville school
with the Macon institution For
the present, however, he will
operate both.
Mr. Stanley’s Thomasvill3 Bus¬
iness College has won a name as
the best establishment of^its
kind in south Georgia and one of
the very best in the state. It has
been the means of bringing a
great many young men to the
cits and of fuithering the inter¬
ests of the place in a material
way.
Mr- Stanley is one of the best
citizens that Thornasville possess¬
es, and it would be with the
greatest regret that the city
would see him leave. It is be¬
lieved and hoped that He will find
profit in operating both the
Thornasville and Macon schools,
and wTl not cease to be a citizen
of Thornasville.
CAUTION!
This is not a gentle word—but when
you think how liable you are not to pur¬
chase the only remedy universally
known and a remedy that has had the
largest sale of any medicine in the world
since 18G8 for the cure and treatment of
Consumption and Throat and Lung
troubles wit hout losing its great popu¬
larity all these-years, you will be thank¬
ful wo called your attention to Bos
chee’s German Syrup. There are so
many ordinary cough remedies made by
druggists and others that are cheap and
good for light colds perhaps, hut for se¬
vere coughs, bronchitis, croup—and es¬
pecially for consumption, where there is
difficult expectoration and coughing du¬
ring the nights and mornings, there is
nothing like German Syrup. The 2f>c
size has just been introduced this year.
Regular size 75 cents. At all druggists.
STATE VETERANS’ REUNION.
General McGlashin Will Fix Date
in a Few Days
Atlanta, Ga., March 21.—The
date for the reunion of the Geor¬
gia division uf the United Con¬
federate Veterans’ Association
has not as yet been decided up¬
on. General 0. A. Evans a few
days ago wrote General McGlash
in, of Savannah, suggesting that
the re-union take place somt
time in August, as at that time
better accommodations can be
secured for the veterans. Gen¬
eral Evans is of the opinion that
General McGlashin will announce
the date in a few days. The re¬
union will be held this year in
Rome, Ga.
Best cough Medicine for children
When you buy a cough medicine for
small children you want one in which
you can place implicit confidence. You
want one that not only relieves but
cures. You want one that is unques¬
tionably harmless. You want one that
is pleasant to take. Chamberlain’s
Cough Remedy meets all of these con¬
ditions. There is nothing so good for
the coughs and colds incident to child¬
hood. It is also a certain pro venture
and cure for croup, and there is no dan¬
ger whatever from whooping cough
when it is given. It has been used in
many epidemics of that disease with
perfect success. For sale by Lewis
Drug Co.
The Congressional committee
on Judiciary has voted to im¬
peach Charles Swayne, federal
ju dge for the district of Florida,
who is charged with being absent
from his circuit, being a non¬
resident of his district, imprison¬
ing a lawyer in a contempt pro¬
ceeding; imprisoning the son of
a litigant, also for contempt of
court and refusing to hear a cer¬
tain witness in a case before him,
alleging that he would not believe
the witness under oath.
