Section 1. Be it ordained by the May¬
and Council of the Town of Camilla

To The People, the Qualified Voters of
the Town of Camilla;
Notice is hereby given that, by an or¬
dinance passed by the Mayor and Coun¬
cil of said town, approved September
3th, 1904, a copy of which is published
above, an election has been called, to be
held at tlie only voting or election pre
eiuct in said town, namely, at the court
house of Mitchell county, on the 12th,
day of October, 190-1, under the same
rules and regulations that elections for
officers for said town are now held, and
in accordance with Section 377 et sequi
turof the Code of the State of Georgia,
to determine the question whether
bonds shall be issued by the Town of
Camilla, the amount of bonds to be is¬
sued to be $20,000, said bonds being forty
in number, of the denomination of $500
each, each of said bonds to bear interest
at the rate ot 5 1 2 per cent, jier annum
from November 1st, 1904, payable semi¬
annually on the 1st days October and
April in each year, beginning with the
1st day of April, 1905, and to be sold at
not less than par; raid bonds to be issued

establishing an electric light plant arid

Minutes read and adopted.
Matter of council appropriating funds
to build new room, and other improve¬
ments for white academy, submitted by
Councilman Turner, was taken up, and
on motiou council deferred action in the
matter until meeting of County School
Commissioners.
Appeal case of Guss Kolbie was taken
up and on investigation council dismiss¬
ed said case.
Appeal case of II. C. Dasher, Jr., was
taken up and on investigation council
sustained decision of Mayor.
Also appeal case of Robert Rachals,
Jr., was taken up and Mayor’s decision
was sustained. Defendant gave notice of
certiorari.
On motion nuisance case of old wood¬
en building belonging to Stubbs heirs
was continued to next regular meeting.
On motion Cemetery Committee was
requested to have old cemetery put in a
respectable condition.
On motion council gave Editor Allen
twenty-five dollars extra pay for pub¬
lishing bond election notice.
City Marshall made bis report for the
month just ending. Total amount $107.
On motion same adopted.
On motion Councilman M. C. Bennet
was apjKiinted acommittee of one to
confer with 51. C. F. Co. in regard to
Electric Light Plant, price, etc., for
same.
On motion Mayor appointed commit¬
tee composed of Walt, Bennet, and Perry
to secure an option on a site to erect a
city Hall.
Upon motion it was ordered third
street tax be collected.
Street committee was requested to as¬

the town.
An ordinance repealing Section 50, of
