A customer, to whom I can refer for any enquiries, de
sires me to let you know the particulars of her ease.
She had troubled for years with a disordered liver

virulence of the attack was so alarming, and the in
flammation sot in so severely, that doubts were enter
tained of her being aide to bear up under if; for
tunately she was induced to try your Pills, and she in
forms me that after tho first, and each succeeding dose,
she had great relief. .She continued to take them, and
although she used only three boxes, she is now in the
enjoyment of perfect health. I could have sent you
many more cases, but the above, from the severity of
the attack, ami the speedy euro, I think speaks much
in favor of your astonishing Pills. (.Signed)

MARRIA.GE, HAPPINESS AND
COMPETENCE.
WHY IS IT 7
THAT we behold many females, scarce in tho meri
dian ol life broken iu health aud spirits with a
complication of diseiu>;s and ailments, depriving them
ofthe power for the enjoyment of life at an ago when
physical health, buoyancy of spirits, and happy screni
ity of mind, arising from a condition of health, should
be predominant.
Many of the causes of her sufferings at first—perhaps
years before, perhaps during girl hood,or tho first years
of marriage—were in their origin so light as to pass
unnoticed, and of course neglected.
IN AFTER YEARS.
When too late to be benefitted by our knowledge, wo
look back and mourn, and regret the full consequences
of our ignorance.
; What would we not often give to possoss, in early j
; life tho knowledge wo obtain in after years 1 Aud j
. what days and nights of nuguish we might not have
; lH.*en spared, if the knowledge was timely possessed.—
; It is
MELANCHOLY AND STARTLING

By becoming in time possessed of tho knowledge, tho

: In view of such consequences, no wife or mother is
