)V“<t*V Suffering.
Extract of a letter from Mr. William Qolpin, of 70
St. Marys-stieet, Weymouth, dated 15th May, l'rt.l :
To Prufvjssor Holloway:
Srn:—At the ago of eighteen my wife, (who is now
sixty-one,) cmiuht a violent cold, which settled in her
legs, and ever since that time they lmvo been luore or
i less sore, and greatly inhumed. Her agonies were
destracting, and lbr months together she was deprived
entirely oi rest and sleep. Every remedy that medi
cal men advised was tried, but without effect; her
health suffered severely, and the state of her legs was
terrible. 1 had often read your advertisements, and
uilvised her to try your Pills and Ointment; and, as u
last vesauree, after every other remedy hud proved
useless, she consented to do so. She commenced six
weeks ago. and, strange to relate, is now in good
health. Her logs are painless, without seam or sear,
and her sleep sound aud undisturbed. Could you have
witnessed the sufferiuirs of my wife during the lust 42
years, and contrast them with tier present enjoyment
of health, you would indeed feel delighted in having
been the means of so greatly alleviating the sufferings
I of a fellow creature.

Copy of a letter from Mr. Win. Abbs, builder of Gas

List, 1851:
To Professor JhAhwiy:
Sia:—l suffered f.r a- peril of thirty years from a
bad leg. the result of two or three different accidents
at fchtfGaa Works;accompanied by scorbutic symptoms.
I Imd recourse to a variety of medical advice, without
deriving any benefit, an I was even told that the leg
must be amputated; yet, in opposition to that opinion,
your Pills and Ointment have effected a complete cun*
in so short a time, that few who bad not witnessed it
would credit the fart. (Signed)
William Amts.
The truth of this statement can be verified by Mr.
W. P. England, Chemist, 12 Market-street, Hudders

.1 Dreadful Had Hnant Cured in One Month.
Extract of a letter from Mr. Frederick Turner, of
Penshurst, Kent, dated December 13th, 1250:
To Professor Holloway:
Dear Sir:—Mv wife hud suffered from Bad Breasts
for mrn-e than six months, and during the whole peri
od had the best medical attendance, but all to no use.
Having bes-re healed an awful wound in my own leg
by your unrivalled medicine, I determined again to
I use your Pills and Ointment, and therefore gave them
! a trial in her ease, and fortunate it was i did -o: for in
• less than a mouth a perfei t euiv was effected, and the
benefit that various other brandies of my family have
derived from their use is really astonishing. 1 now
strongly recommend them to all my friends.
