hung at Clarksville. Wallaoe, being high

terday morning Kline, who con
ducted the execution, left tbia city for
Clarksville, accompanied by a young man
named Banks. Reaching the depot at
Clarksville, they started on foot for the
town, and were fired upon from the road
side by some unknown person. Kline
was mortally, and young Banks slightly
wounded, One Robinson, a cousin of
Lide Wallace, waa arrerted and identified
as the party who did the shooting.

submitted by the Comptroller of the Cur
rency the Attorney General haa decided
that it is lawful to distribute snob portion

amount of that 6854,000,000 as may be
retired by redemption and destitution in
accordance with appointment provided by
acta of Msroh 8d, 1805, and June 12th,
1870. He also deoidea that it will be law
ful to re-distribute the $55,000,000 of cir
culation authorized by the act of Jane
20th, 1874, as application thersfor U
made, to any State having lea* than ita
proportion, until it shall reoaiva its full
apportionment, as provided by that sot;
and he also decide* that a national bank,
with a capital of $50,000, may b* organ
ised aa heretofore upon the deposit of
one-third of their oapital stock in United
States bonds with the Treasurer of the
