This is a very good showing for
Brnntwiokiens so far, aa thera has been
bat little work dane toward getting
subscriptions. The amount should
and probably will be donbled before
the lists are closed.
If there is only SIOO raised In Brans*
wlok, however,the|people bera will have
set a mark which if reaobed all over
the Union will swell the grand tetal to
something like 3760,000. Suoh a sum
would establish a memorial that would
be In a measure commensnate with tbe
love and esteem tbe country feels for
tbe memory of William McKinley.
SUPREME COURT MONDAY.
Tlia Criminal Docket Will Be Taken Up,
Which is Very Light.
The Superiorfcourt convenes again
Monday morning when the criminal
dooket will be taken np. There are
very few oases of importance on the
docket eo far, and unless something
new eminates from the grand jury room
there will hardly be enough criminal
business to occupy the attention of the
court all of next week,
A FINE PIECE OF WORK-
Turned Out by the Times Call Job Depart
ment this Week.
There was printed by the Timei-Cal
job department a few days ago large
illustrated hand bilia advertising a
special sale at A. Kaiser .% Bros, dry
goods emporium, that have bsen very
favorably commented on not only by
the Arm for which the work was done,
but by others who have seen it. It was
a splendid pieoe of work and Mr.
Kaiser says it was the best of the kind
he ever had gotten up in this or any
other city.
The Times-Call job office is the only
printing office in Brunswick sufficient*
iy equipped to turn out this class of
work.
