Local 4-H members to perform with Nashville songwriter

McElroy and Tyler Robertson,
will be on stage with Grammy-
winning Nashville songwriter,
Hillary Lindsey when she per
forms Saturday, March 21,
at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in a
Clovers & Co. benefit concert.
McElroy and Robertson are
current members of the 4-H

Founded in 1981 as a pro

Clovers & Co. has produced such
national talents as Lindsey and
Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland.
Faithful to her 4-H roots, the
small-town girl from Washington,
Georgia, contributed three songs
to last year’s Clover Country
album—a joint venture between
National 4-H Council and EMI
Music. Among the many popu
lar hits written or co-written by
Hillary Lindsey are “Jesus Take
the Wheel,” “So Small" and “Just
a Dream”— each recorded by
megastar, Carrie Underwood.
Artists such as Faith Hill, Tim
McGraw, Jason Aldean, Hillary
Duff, and Martina McBride have
also cut Lindsey’s songs.
Author and humorist, Darrell
Huckaby, will emcee the event.
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m.
in Talmadge Auditorium at Rock
Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton.
Proceeds from the show will go
to Clovers & Co. Seating is lim
