PILOT CLUB PRESENTS PUPPET SHOW
TO KINDERGARTENERS
For many years, the Pilot Club of Madison County
has presented a “brainminder” puppet show to the
kindergarten classes of Madison County. The hand
puppets teach the children the importance of wearing
their helmets and playing safely to protect their brains.
Now, Pilot Club International has written a script for
seniors. Instead of using hand puppets, club members
made costumes so that there could be a human “Gerald
Giraffe,” “Toolip Pig,” “Fiona Fox,” “Penny Panda”
and “Martin Monkey.” On March 11, the puppets pre
sented a program to the folks and staff of Highland
Hills Independent Living and Personal Care Center.
They talked with the residents about how to keep their
brains active and their bodies healthy and moving.
