Methodist Church will
have a community Vacation
Bible School July 27-29
entitled “Camp EDGE”
(Experience, Discover God
Everywhere). VBS will be
held from 9-11:30 a.m.
each morning for ages 4
years through fifth grade.

•Gospel Tabernacle,
Watson Mill Road, will
have a gospel singing on
Saturday, July 11, begin
ning at 7:30 p.m. featur
ing Kyla and Linda Long
and Friends, of Jefferson.
Also featured will be the
Southern Travelers, of
Carlton, along with other
local singers. This is a free
concert, organizers said, but
a love offering will be taken
for the featured group. For

•Bible Baptist Church
will be having a singing
Sunday night, July 12, at
6:30 p.m. Special singers
will be Kenny Lee from
Monroe and others. The
church is located three
miles south of Danielsville,
just off Hwy. 29 on the
Cleghorne Road. “Come
one out for a good time in
the name of Jesus Christ,”
church leaders said.
•Bethel M. Baptist
Church, Hwy. 281, will
have homecoming services
Sunday, July 19 at 11 a.m.
with special singing and a
meal following the service.
Revival services will be
held July 20-24, at 7:30
p.m. each evening. The
speaker for Monday and
Tuesday will be Kelby
Maxwell, the speaker for
Wednesday will be Glendon
Williams and the speaker
for Thursday and Friday
will be Terry Hagwood.
•Waggoners Grove
Baptist Church will hold
its 11 th annual Appreciation
Celebration July 19 at 4
p.m.
This is a celebration of
pastor Roy L. Thomas Sr.
and first lady Jacqueline
Thomas. “Please come and
join the Waggoners Grove
Family as we celebrate
11 years of service from
our pastor, the Rev. Roy
L. Thomas Sr.,” organizers
said. R.L. White of the Mt.
Ephraim Baptist Church in
Atlanta is the guest pastor
for the event. The church
also plans revival services
July 13-15 at 7:30 p.m.
