WINDER - Rena Casper
Adams, 56, died Wednesday,
November 4, 2009.
Born in Walton County
she was the daughter of
the late James W. Casper
and Helen Hayes Price and
was of the Baptist denomi
nation. She was a loving
mother and nana and was
loved by many, loved ones
stated. Mrs. Adams was pre
ceded in death by a brother,
Darrell Casper.
Survivors include a son,
Calvin O’Neal Martin Jr.,
Monroe; daughters and
sons-in-law, Cynthia and
Edwin Whitley, and Tonya
and Brad Westmoreland, all
of Monroe; five grandchil
dren; brothers, Dan Casper,
Monroe, Doyle Casper
and Dan Casper, both of
Winder; sister, Rita Lumley,
Winder; and several nieces
and nephews.
Funeral services were
held Saturday, November 7,
in Smith Memory Chapel
with the Rev. Terry Casper
officiating. Burial was in the
Pleasant Hill Presbyterian
Church cemetery.

Faye Dalton
HOLLINGSWORTH -
Faye Wise Dalton, 95, died
Sunday, November 8, 2009,
at a private care facility.
Born on November 26,
1913, in Banks County, she
was the daughter of the late
John Tyler and Idela Smith
Wise. She was the oldest
member of the Harmony
Baptist Church, having been
a member her entire life.
She taught Sunday School,
was a member of Baptist
Women on Mission, sang
in the church choir, played
the piano, and worked in
Vacation Bible School at
her church. She was a grad
uate of Piedmont College
and then taught at Baldwin
Elementary School for 34
years before her retirement.
She was an Emeritus mem
ber of the Habersham Retired
Teachers Association and
was the last member of her
immediate family.
Mrs. Dalton was preceded
in death by her husband,
Broughton Dalton; five sis
ters; and two brothers.
Survivors include a daugh
ter and son-in-law, Helen
and George Hardeman,
Guatemala City, Guatemala;
son and daughter-in-law, Len
and Atha Dalton, Baldwin;
grandchildren, Len B. and
Renee Dalton, Tommy and

SUWANEE - Craig L.
Golden, 43, died suddenly
on Monday, November 9,
2009.
Born on June 25, 1966,
in Birmingham, Ala., he
was the son of John and
Gail Golden of Castle
Rock, Colo. He was a 1984
magna cum laude graduate
of Brookwood High School
in Snellville and a 1988
summa cum laude gradu
ate of Mercer University in
Macon, with a degree in
business and finance. He
was an executive vice pres
ident with Waffle House,
Inc., in Norcross. He played
baseball while attending
Mercer University, was
a coach for the Gwinnett
Football League and
Greater Gwinnett Baseball
League, and was a mem
ber of Shadowbrook Baptist
Church in Suwanee. He was
an avid sports fan and loved
baseball. He was a loving
husband, father, son, broth
er, and friend, and will be
greatly missed and always
remembered, loved ones
stated.

WINDER - Jimmie Hunt,
57, died Monday, November
2, 2009.
A native of San Antonio,
Texas, she had resided in
Winder since 1982. She
was the daughter of Mary
Ledbetter and the late
Jimmy Ledbetter. She had
been the director of Kinder
Care Learning Center for
37 years, and was a devot
ed Christian of the Baptist
denomination.
Survivors include her hus
band, G. Michael Hunt; a
son, J. Michael Hunt; sib
lings, Sandra Ledbetter
and Charles Ledbetter, all
of Winder, Peggy Whitt,
Washington; and a niece
and spouse, Tami and Jerry

at his residence.
Bom in Anderson County,
S.C., on June 4, 1943, he
was the son of the late
Harrison Thomas and Ezzie
Hunsinger Jones. He was
a welder and was a former
fire chief with the Collins
Volunteer Fire Department.
He was of the Baptist
denomination.

on September 5, 1960, she
was the daughter of Faye
Ballenger Maney of Baldwin
and the late Tommy Maney.
She was a member of Mt.
View Baptist Church and
was a homemaker. She
was a devoted wife, moth
er and grandmother, who
loved reading and collecting
antiques, loved ones added.
Mrs. Lewallen was preceded
in death by a brother, David
Thomas Maney.
Survivors include her
