Royals, from 6A
The Royals would start their
comeback in the bottom of the first
scoring once without the benefit of
a hit. Bleckley County pitcher
Philip Rowland would settle down,
allowing two singles over the next
three innings.
The Royals would add two runs
in die second and three runs in the
third to come withinone of the
Panthers. Walker would hold the
Royals hitless until one out in the
third, when Scotty Jackson poked a
two run single up the middle of the
field.
Robbie Howell started the Royal
fourth with a single to right of sec
ond. He moved to second when the
Panther first baseman allowed a
pickoff throw to go past him.
Jeremy Raley grounded out to first,
moving Howell to third. Howell
would later score on a wild pitch.
With Howell's score, Perry's

climbed out of their holes, and woe
tied with the Panthers at seven.
The Panthers would come back
in the top of the fifth. Waldrip
would stroke a double to right, and
advance to third on a wild pitch. He
would score one out later on
Reynolds' single to left.
Reynolds would take second on a
wild pitch. He would come around
to score on Gonzalez's single down
the first base line.
The Panthers defensive woes
would come back to haunt them in
the bottom of the fifth. The Royals
would put together a walk and two
Panther errors for two runs to tie
the game at nine.
Bleckley County would put the
game away in the bottom of the
