The property herein conveyed is the
same as that known and designated as

Superior Court. Said plat and the recorded
copy thereof are hereby made a part of this

Specific reference is made to the fact
that the land conveyed herein has a depth
of 210.62 feet on its easterly boundary and

boundary.
The property herein conveyed is subject
to a 10 foot easement along its easterly

Houston County Road Project 93204
Houston County Board of
Commissioners will be accepting Sealed
Proposals for the construction of Houston
County Road Project 93204 at the
Commissioner’s Office, Houston County
Annex, 200 Carl Vinson Parkway in Warner
Robins, Georgia until 11:00 A.M. o’clock
legal prevailing time on Friday, June 3,
1994, at which time and place they will be
publicly opened and read aloud. No bid
may be withdrawn after the closing time for
the receipt of Bids for a period of sixty (60)
calendar days.
The work to be done consists of
furnishing ail materials and equipment and
performing all labornecessary to construct
Houston County Road Project 93204
according to plans by Story Surveying Co.
Story Surveying will provide control staking
only. All construction staking will be the
responsibility of the Bidder. The Bidder will
be responsible for all Testing of soils and
materials as requested by Houston County
Engineering Department. Construction
work will be in accordance with Georgia’s
Department of Transportation Standard and
Supplemental Specifications for
Construction of Roads and Bridges.
Houston county will not be responsible for
unforeseen site conditions. Erosion and
sedimentation control and traffic control
will be the responsibility of bidder and will
be inspected daily.
The Bidder shall be a contractor licensed
to do work in the state of Georgia. The work
will be awarded in one contract.
Payment of the Contract Amount will be
made on a periodic basis on applications
for payment from the Contractor and
approved by the Engineer based on work
accomplished, products furnished and
products stored on the site. Such progress
payment requests shall be submitted by
the contractor no later than the 25th day of
each month during the term of the Contract
and shall be paid by the Owner within thirty
(30) days after receipt of approved progress
payment request, lessretainage and other
deductions provided in the Contract
Documents. Furtherdetailsconcemingthe
payment provisions of the contract are
contained in Article 14 of the General
Condition of the Contract Documents.
Plans, Specifications and Contract
Documents are on file at Houston County
Public works Office, 2018 Kings Chapel
Road, Peny, Ga. 31069, and may be
obtained upon deposit of seventy-five
($75.00) dollars per set (non-refundable).
Bonds: All bids must be accompanied
by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than
ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The
Successful Bidder, if awarded the Contract,
will be required to furnish a Performance
Bond and Payment Bond, each in the
amount of one hundred percent (100%) of
the Contract amount.
Job is to be complete December 16,
1995. Liquidated damages will accrue at
SSOO/day.
The Owner reserves the right to reject
any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to
readvertise.
