Twenty-seven excited Meadowdale
Learning Center students and their
parents, grandparents, aunts and un
cles gathered at the center on
Houston Lake Road Wednesday
morning for graduation exercises.
The occasion also marked the fourth
anniversary of the operation of the
center.
The program was entitled "Oh,
The Places You’ll Go!"
Ms. Chandra welcomed the large
group of visitors and read a story by
Dr. Seuss about choices.
Some of the children, dressed in
costumes representing their chosen
occupations when they grow up
came out to the microphone one at
the time, told their name, age and
their choice for a vocation.
The graduation procession sang
"It’s Time To Go To School" and
"Off To Kindergarten", accompanied
by Ms. Brenda Long on the auto
harp. The poem "Growing Up" was
read and a diploma given to each
child as they marched up front. This
was the largest group to "graduate"
from Meadowdale.
