Sealed proposal from General
Contractors will be received by the Houston
County Board of Education, Owner, at the
board office located at 1211 Washington
Street until 2:00 P.M. at the time legally
prevailing in Perry, Georgia, on Thursday,
August 4, 1994, for the construction of a
New Middle School No. 2 to be located on
Feagin Mill Road in Warner Robins,
Georgia. At the timeand place noted above,
the proposals will be publicly opened and
read.
Bidding documents may be obtained
at the office of the Architect, Wm. Harold
DeLoach, Architect P. 0. Box 6926, 721
Walnut Street Macon, Georgia 31208.
Bidding documents are available for
review at the office of the Dodge Ran
Rooms, Construction Market Data and
Dodge SCAN.
Bidding documents may be obtained
from the Architect upon deposit of Two
Hundred Dollars ($200.00). One Hundred
Twenty-Five Dollars ($125.00) of the
deposit will be refundable to General
Contractors, provided documents are
retu med to the Architect within fifteen (15)
days after the opening of bids The
remaining Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00)
will be used to defer the cost of prin ting and
handling and will be non-refundable. No
refunds will be made for documents
returned after fifteen (15) days. Refunds
will be made to bona fide bidders only.
Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump
sum basis of the base bid to the lowest
responsible and qualified bidder. No bid
may be withdrawn for a period of 35 days
after time has been called on the date of
opening. Bids must be accompanied by a
Bid Bond in an amount of not less than 5%
of the base bid. Both a Performance Bond
and a Payment Bond will be required in an
amount equal to 100% of the contract
price.
The Owner reserves the right to reject
any or all bids and to waive technicalities
ana rormannes.

value received, Sheila E. Jackson executed
and delivered to the United States of
America, acting through the Farmers Home
Administration, United States Department
of Agriculture, a Deed to Secure Debt
conveying certain real estate located in
