Attention Clubs! The Houston Times-Joumal plans to issue a special
publication in September about clubs. This issue could become a
historic publication - one that could be kept on file at the Perry
Library and other pertinent locations for reference and information
purposes.
The cooperation of each club in the Perry area is needed. Presidents
of clubs are requested to get with the necessary members of their club
to compile the following information about their club and to submit
it by the deadline date of Sept. 12, 1994
We realize that this is rather short notice, but September is the time
clubs, which have had a summer vacation, will start their Fall
meetings.
This is the information we are asking you to send to us - and we
need your club’s data, written in this order:
1. Name of Club
2. Officers (names, current office held, phone where each may be
reached) / All Current Members.
3. Meetings: (place, time, date and whether a meal is involved;
special meetings).
4 Current Club Activities, Projects and Goals:
5. Club’s History (date organized, number members, first officers,
organizing president, acivities or special projects in the past, etc.):
Deadline for submission is Sept. 12. 1994. Send, bring
or fax to: Houston Times-Joumal, P.O. Drawer M, Perry, Ga. 31069,
807 Carroll St., FAX: 912-988-1181. Call (912) 987-1823 for
further information.
Anticipated date for publication of the Round-up of Clubs is
September 22, 1994.

The project is scheduled to start

Until then, Supt. Tony Hinnant
said students will have no choice

available.
"Some kids in a brand new
