The Smiths are perfect as
Grandma and Grandpa, the children
are adorable, the father and mother
turn in good performances, the
sisters are delightful, Bernie Tib
betts as Clay Boy does a great job,
as does Nelson Perez as “Birdshot”.

Willow RicJgc Care Home, a
15-bed personal care facility
located at 1900 Macon Road
(Hwy 41 N.), opened on Oct. 14,
1994, wiih a ribbon-culling cere
mony by the Perry Area Chamber
of Commerce.
Todd and Lisa Barker are own
ers/managers of this facility which
has five single and five double
rooms, with a restroom for each
room, a kitchen, dining and living
room :treas.

Craft fair slated
Andrew United Methodist
Church, llwy 127 and Houston
Lake/Centerville Rd.. Kathleen,
Ga„ will hold a Craft Fair and
Idea Market, Pecan Sale and Bar-B-
Que Chicken Dinner on Nov. 19,
1994.
The Craft Fair and Flea Market
will be open from 8 a m. to 4 p.m.
The Bar-B-Que dinner will be
served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bar-B-Quc tickets can be
purchased from any Andrew church
member in advance, or you can
come Nov. 19 and buy a plate(s) for
$4.00 each.

Lisa, the daughter of Mark and
Sarah Schlags, received a BS degree
in Nursing from the Medical
College of Georgia in Augusta in
1993.
Todd majored in Hotel/
Restaurant Management at the
University of Georgia
Todd’s family lived in Kathleen
and Lisa’s familly lived in King’s
Crest. They met at Perry High
School when they were sopho
mores. and were married in August
1993.
This is the Barkers’ first busi
ness venture and for the present,
they are living in the Willow

Edler, James announce plan
to wed in Macon January 7th
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh James Elder
announce the engagement of their
daughter Tina Marie Edler of
Augusta, Ga., to Kevin Michael
James of Richmond, Virginia, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Jim James of
North Bend, Oregon. The wedding
is planned for January 7, 1995 at
St. Joseph's Catholic Church in
Macon.
The bride-elect is the
granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Quirino Maini, Mr. John Edler, and
die late Rose Spaulding Fdler. A
graduate of Trenton High School in
Trenton, Fla., she received a
bachelor's degree in biology and
Indian choir to perform at PUMC
On Sunday, Dec. 1, Perry
United Methodist Church will be
hosting the India Children's Choir.
In addition to presenting the
inspiring choir, the church families
will be opening their homes to the
children.
