Faircloth named to Perry
hospital recruitment committee

Jimmy Faircloth, new Houston County Hospital
Authority member from Perry, was named March 15 to
the Perry Hospital recruitment committee by Authority
Chairman Barbara Calhoun.
Calhoun, chairing her first meeting, also appointed
Steve Rogers, new member from Warner Robins, to the
Houston Medical Center recruitment committee.
Former Authority chairman Hal Cotton was named to
the Financial Aid committee.

peanut crop budget by 20 percent in

Commerce Staff Clinic,” March 12,
at the Holiday Inn. More than 100

and staff members, as well as repre

plans to be appointed or reappointed to the medical
staffs of the hospitals.
Dr. Skip McDannald, ghief executive officer of
Houston Healthcare Complex, announced that Doctor’s
Day will be observed March 30. A breakfast will be held
at Perry Hospital and a lunch is planned at Houston
Medical Center.

visit her shop for their pets to be
groomed; Ellie Bradford from New
York has a cocker spaniel that she
brings once or twice each year when
she visits her grandmother in Perry.
Another, a trucker from California,
brings his schnauzer,' “Cracker
Jack”, for grooming every three
weeks as his trucking route takes
him through Perry.

reserve championships at the ninth
annual Macon Fat Cattle Show in
Macon Monday
After a series of meetings of
Scout officials and parents of Perry
boys held at Perry school under the
direction of Prof. E. P. Staples, a cub
scout pack was organized and three
dens were formed with appropriate
officials.
