Methodist Church Donations to church missions lor
the care and feeding ol other children had been made
in the names ol children by then parents or grand
parents
A dedication certificate was presented to the bil
lowing children Charlie Ayet by Stacey and Chuck
Ayer. Amelia and Him Collins by (ieri and Steve
Collins. Libby Degeet by Frank and Merne Degeet.

Traditions ol Balvaunuca Club Cindy Flesher gave
us Creative Clifts and Wrapping Techniques that
included "Grandma Beck's Sweet Pickles tor gilt
giving
gallon kosher whole dill pickles
A cup v inegar
1 small onion t sliced i
3 cups sugar
icup water
2 tsp celery seed
Drain liquid oil ol the dill pickles Miv together
sugar, vinegar, celery seed, and water Pour this mix
ture into the empty pickle iar Slice the pickles and
put them bask into the jar with the new liquid mix
ture Alternate pickle layers with layers ol sliced
onion
When the jar is lull, put the lid bask on lightly and
turn the iar upside down for 12 hours in the refriger
ator Pour into pint si/e iars and use lot gilt giving
