Schyler West. 22. son of Dr. and Mrs. W. Wayne West of
H:iwkinsville. graduated Saturday, Mav 30. from the United States
Military Academy at West Point and was commissioned a second lieu
tenant.
West was the valedictorian of his high school class at The Westfield
Schools.
He was commissioned in the armor and has been assigned to Fort
Knox, Ky., for 17 weeks of training, after which he will be stationed at
Fort Polk, La.
