Lilli Ann Barrett, longtime
bookkeeper for Perry High
School, was treated to a retire
ment “roast" of a party on Oct.
23. Tables were set up in the gar
dens overlooking Perry Country
Club of the Cedar Ridge Drive
home of Principal Phil and Sandy
Smith.
Pat Laccficld of the school
staff barbecued ribs, and covered
dishes from the kitchens of the
faculty and staff of the school
completed the meal. This conge
nial group including spouses had
a great time poking fun and pre
sented Lilli Ann with a handsome
lamp for her retirement.

George and Cindy Griffin
Neal are honeymooning in
Hawaii this week following their
afternoon wedding Oct. 31 at
Memorial Heights Baptist
Church.

first met Cindy during the 1997
Georgia National Fair through
their coworker Joyce Mann who
personally created and designed
their rings and sang for their wed
ding. A reception was held in the
Fairview Room of the Reeves
Arena. The darling couple will be
at home in Elko following their
trip.
