Remember Jane Coward who
with her husband was proprietor
of the Swift Street Inn? This
recipe of hers appeared on these
pages several years ago. You’ll
want to clip this one. A plastic
bag of these along with a zipping
food storage bag of shredded
Mozzarella cheese makes a dandy
gift.

I cup chopped onions
I 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar
cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
I 1/2 tsp. oregano
I tsp. garlic salt
1 jar spaghetti .sauce _;, _
2 cans flaky style biscuits
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Simmer sausage until half

Our representatives to the
recent Trib Publications winter
advertising conference brought
home good news and two large
plaques.
When the Trib newspaper fam
ily gathers twice each year, there
are awards for competition
among the 34 Trib publications.
The winter conference awards are
for advertising.
The first plaque was for best
display of public notices among
the Trib papers. Judges liked the
clean, even display of the notices
and the way they were displayed
by category.
The second plaque was the
biggie of the contest first place
in general advertising excellence.
Judges (not frpm Trib papers,
~by 'the way) liked the overall
design of advertisements in the
Times-Joumal, and the design of
the pages which incorporates
advertising into the flow of the
page.
Representing the Times-
Journal at the winter conference
were acting advertising manager
Charlotte Perkins and general
manager Jj Johnson.
