Warlick splits time
between new baby, getting
ready for tournaments
County middle school tourney opens Feb. 3

It has been a big week for
Coach John Warlick at Perry
Middle School.
Warlick and his wife, Donna,
welcomed a new baby girl, Abigal
Grace Ann Warlick to their fam
ily at 2:49 p.m. last Tuesday after
noon. Abby weighed 6 lbs. 14
ounces and was 20 se inches long.
She was welcomed home by big
sisters Allie and Jesse and big
brother Tyler . Both mother ana
baby are doing fine.
Warlick was also busy prepar
ing the Bth grade boys basketball
B-Hornets drop game to
Mount de Sales Cavaliers
Second loss this season to Mount de Sales

The Westfield Hornets boys’
B-team has lost just three games
this season, but two of them have
been at the hands of the Mount
de Sales Cavaliers.
Carlton McMillan scored 14
points in leading the B-Cavaliers
to a 47-38 decision despite 18
points by the Hornets’ Will Holt.
Holt got the Hornets off to a
great start, leading the team to a
16-13 first quarter advantage
with 11 of his game high total.
A two-point second quarter by
the Hornets allowed the Macon
visitors to take a slim 19-18 lead
at halftime. The Cavaliers scored
just six in the slow moving second
quarter.
Westfield pulled into a tic at
the end of three quarters as Ben
Brannen and Holt scored five

today. The girl’s face Bonaire
while the boys are up against
Feagin Mill; Games start at 3:30.
The eighth grade girls will travel
to Warner Robins and play at
Rumble. Game time is also 3:30.

playing at Bonaire. Their game
starts around 5:00.
