At SSenoia, Tuesday, while a crowd of
white and negro Urchins were playing
‘around the depot, a negro boy threw a
rock at his companion. The rock missed
the boy, but struck Uobn Hancock in the
left eye, cutting it severely. Mr. Hancock
will perhaps lose the-sight of the eye.
Several days ago, at Statenville station,
Obarbs Goodman shot and killed John
Fountain, and he also ahotJJack Bell in,the
groin, inflicting a painful if not dangerous'
wound. In turn Jack Bell shot Charleles
Goodman, inflicting a mortal wound.
