Sheriff Byington went to Macon last
week.
Rev. H. Stephens preached a fine
sermon at Union Chapel Sunday.
Dr. H. Gilmore of Ivey is visiting
his daughter, Mrs. Byington, of Irwin
ton.

- the obituary of Dr. G. E. Carleton. The
doctor was one of our best friends,
and we extend our loving sympathy
to the bereaved relatives and friends.
Our streets need working. They are
muddy and a disgrace to our town.
It is rumored that we are to have
another wedding soon. |

Rev. H. Stevens left Monday to at
tend Methodist Conference to be held
in Brunswick. We hope he will be
sent back to Irwinton. :
