report, spotted Williams
at about 1:40 a.m. in the
400 block of King Arthur
Lane.
Police had previously
received complaints of
drug activity in that area.
When the officers pulled
up and started to get out,
Williams took off run
ning.
He was captured after a
short foot chase. Officers
then retraced his path
and found 10 rocks of
crack cocaine in the area
where he was first seen.
Williams had $ 1,161.00
in his pocket.
Williams had a prior fel
ony conviction in Houston
County for Possession of
Cocaine with Intent to
Distribute.
He was arrested in April
of 2000 by Warner Robins
police. In that case, he
