second in peanut contest

Alysha Mitchell, an
eighth-grader at Feagin
Mill Middle School,
recently placed second in
the Plains, Peanuts and a
President postcard contest
sponsored by the Jimmy
Carter National Historic
Sites Education Program.
Winners are invited to
attend the Plains Peanut
Festival Saturday-Sunday.
They will be presented
with a book autographed
by President Carter on
Saturday. The winners are
also invited to participate in
the Peanut Festival Parade
with Mr. Peanut.
Winning entries may be
used as promotional mate
rials and may be featured
on the NHS Education
