DAVID C. STROMAN
WARNER ROBINS - David C. Stroman, 56, passed
away Monday. Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at
McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m.
Thursday at Southside Baptist Church with interment fol
lowing in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
Stroman was born May 18,1950 and was a life-long resident
of Warner Robins. He was a member of Southside Baptist
Church. David was a long-time employee of Pabst Brewery
and was most recently employed by Boeing Aerospace, Inc.
as a production associate. He was an avid golfer, participat
ing in many amateur golf tournaments. David was a former
member of Prisoners of Time Band, where he was proud to
demonstrate his skills as a musician. His parents, Jack B.
and Jean Kite Stroman, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy Edwards Stroman,
Warner Robins; step-children, John Boone Fyke (Andrea),
Byron; Madison Hays Fyke, Granada, West Indies; Thomas
Adam Fyke, Atlanta; siblings, Diane Stroman Gilbert
(Randy), Byron; Donna Stroman Williams (Wade), and
Michael Benjamin Stroman (Angie), all of Warner Robins;
granddaughter, Madeline Fyke; and several loving nieces
and nephews.

ROBERTA JO HOGARTH
WARNER ROBINS - Roberta Jo Hogarth, 72, passed
away Thursday. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m.
Saturday in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. In
lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be

Hogarth was born Nov. 2, 1934 in Broken Bow, Okla. She
was of the Assembly of God faith. Jo was very active in
the Loyal Order of Moose. Jo joined the Women of Moose
Warner Robins Chapter 1353 on March 12, 1974. Over
her 32 years of active service, she received her Academy
of Friendship degree in April of 1976; her Star Recorder
degree in Los Angeles, Calif., June of 1979; and her College
of Regents degree in Atlanta, June of 1985. In June of 1997,
she was appointed to the position of Deputy Grand Regent
- Women of the Moose for the State of Georgia. She retired
from the banking industry as a mortgage loan processor.
Her parents, Robert and Corinthia Black Tillery, preceded
her in death.
Survivors include her loving husband, David Hogarth,
Warner Robins; children, Robert Marlow (Karen), Leesburg,
Fla.; Richard Marlow (Susi), Tampa, Fla.; granddaughter,
Summer Marlow Sampedro-Carajal, Tampa, Fla.; brother,
Rudolf Scott Tillery (Linda), Miami, Fla.

JESSE C. HARRELL
WARNER ROBINS - Jesse C. Harrell, 80, passed away
Saturday. Services were held Tuesday
at First Baptist Church in Centeiville
with interment following in Centerville
Cemetery. Reverend Mobley Cross and
Reverend Larry Partain officiated.
Harrell was born April 5, 1926 in
Early County. He was co-owner of
Harrell’s Greenhouses and Nursery
for 37 years. He was a WWII Army
Veteran, and he was retired from Civil Service on Robins
Air Force Base. He was also a member of Central Fellowship
Baptist Church. In addition, he was a devoted husband and
a family man who loved his children, grandchildren, and

great-grandchildren. He was a sincere, earnest, and loyal
friend and will be greatly missed by this community. He
was preceded in death by his parents, Presley C. and Mattie
Harrell, two children, and nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Beanie Harrell, Warner Robins;
son, E. Ronald Harrell (Jackie), Centerville; son, Jimmy
L. Harrell, Perry; daughter, Rita Harrell Hoy (Stephen),
Centerville; sister, Josephine Temples (Mack), Blakely;
six grandchildren, Leslie Vincent (Barry), John C. Harrell
(Kristi), Jesse D. Harrell (Keri), Jennifer L. Harrell, Philip
A. Hoy, and Stephanie L. Hoy; four great-grandchildren,
Audrey, Reed, Allie, and Rylan; and numerous nieces and
nephews.

ADDIE KATE OWENS
WILLISTON, FLA. - Addie Kate Owens. 96, passed away
Dec. 8, 2006 after a short illness.
Private services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetary in
Miami, Fla. Friday. The funeral servies are under the direc
tion of Cofer-Kolski-Combs Funeral Home.
She is survived in death by her son, James Bradley
Owens, daughter-in-law, Sylvia Dine Owens, grandson,
James Dallas Owens, sister, Jane Hay, nieces, nephews and
many friends.
Owens was proceeded in death by her husband, John
Watts Owens, who she married on May 2, 1940, and and a
grandson, John Watts Owens, 11.
She was born Aug. 1, 1910 in Perry and was a member
of Lake Placid First Presbyterian Church, DAR, UDC,
Huguenot Soceity, Colonial Dames and the Kappa Alpha
Theta of FSU alimni.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are
made in the memory of Addie Kate Owens to one’s favorite
charity.
