Ambulatory Services for
Houston Healthcare.
Martin brings with
him nearly 20 years of
healthcare experience
in a variety of manage
ment positions, and joins
Houston Healthcare most
recently from the Taylor
Healthcare Network in
Hawkinsville where he
was vice president and was
part of the management of
the Taylor Healthcare sys
tem consisting of two hos
pitals and a home health
agency.
He also served as the
Administrator for Bleckley
Memorial Hospital.
As Administrator of
Ambulatory Services for
Houston Healthcare,
Martin has administrative
oversight of operations for
The Ambulatory Surgery
Center, Emergency
Medical Services, Urgent
Care, Imaging Services,
Rehabilitation Services
and the coordination of
access, information and
support for the outpa
tient services and access
to care off of the hospi
tal campuses for Houston
Healthcare.
Martin holds a
Bachelors of Business
Administration from
Valdosta State University
and a Masters of
Business Administration
from Georgia State
University.
He and his family are
long-time residents of
Perry. He is married to
Anita Martin and has
one daughter, Alison that
is married and lives in
Birmingham, Ala.

BOE votes to move old school

Board of Education voted
unanimously Tuesday
to relocate the old Spring
Hill School building, cur
rently on land owned by
Rehoboth Baptist Church,
north of Perry, to a site on
the unused land near the
Herman Ragin Center.
The decision was made
